Finding part-time work while in school can be difficult.  What exactly is the source of your depression? DEBT.

One-third of American students take out loans to cover the cost of higher education; by 2020, the average student will owe $1.6 trillion, or $39,000.

Isn’t that terrible? Today, however, I will give students some advice on how to earn money and speed up the process of debt repayment.

Okay, students, let’s start with 15 ways to make money.

1. Teaching

Teaching

If you’ve been in school for a while, you might be able to help students who are a year or two behind you by sharing your knowledge. Alternatively, if you were a maths prodigy in high school, you could help your classmates who were struggling with concepts you intuitively understood.

Tutoring can pay you $25 per hour while also providing you with knowledge.

According to The Guardian, tutoring could be a great way to earn money if you enjoy teaching and are knowledgeable about your degree subject.

2. TEFL (Teaching English to Foreign Speakers)

TEFL

For college graduates, teaching English to non-native speakers is a lucrative career option. Many of these sites only need you to be able to talk in English, and in many cases, you don’t even need any experience.

It’s incredible that you can use video chat on some websites to improve your communication skills and meet people from all over the world.

If you’re happy making $10 per hour, working from home, and making your own schedule, this is an excellent opportunity for you. However, if you have the necessary qualifications, you can earn more money.

It should be noted, however, that China recently banned all online tutoring services.

Reuters says that the country has banned all for-profit tutoring for school courses in an effort to help families with their finances and raise the low birthrate of the country.

3. Puppy Playtime (Dog Walking)

Dog Walking

There is nothing wrong with honoring dog culture. Many people place their dogs at the center of their lives and are willing to spend a significant amount of money to ensure their happiness.

According to payscale.com, the average hourly wage for a dog walker is $15.

Dog owners who can afford this service, on the other hand, will not hire someone who does not genuinely enjoy dogs.

As the dog walker, you will be in charge of keeping an eye on the dogs’ health, playing with them, making sure they have food and water, and, in some cases, giving them any medications they need.

As long as that is avoided, the task is straightforward.

4. Pet and house sitting.

The obvious conclusion is that throwing parties in your home, leaving it in disarray, and failing to properly care for your pets will jeopardise your future employment opportunities.
